I am a photographer who specializes in documenting families in their, raw element. I have a unique ability to enter a child’s world almost immediately. I am able to observe the unseen and document all the messy, joyful and un-curated moments I can.

I blend into the family, so I can document and preserve real life as it deserves to be remembered. without the Instagram lifestyle filter.

I an Irish Chalice and have been documentary work since 1986.I took a few years off (32 to be exact)working in the studio capacity children’s portraits. Deciding my art form that allows me to express my voice, connecting and documenting children. In turn I am able to make images that express the individuality of each family I photograph.

The photo above is me with my nephew Timmy who lived with cerebral palsy until he was sixteen. We shared a special connection and he was one of the first kids who inspired my documentary work. He passed away but his spirit is always with me and draws me to connect with kids of all abilities. I love getting to know the kids and families I work with — we have the most fun. Ever. Sharing in the one-of-a-kind experience making a treasured keepsake.
